If you want to check your phone, please be sure to stop first and pay attention to your surroundings.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">03<\/span>Don\u2019t Spread Out on the Platform<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir03.png\" alt=\"\u5e83\u304c\u3089\u305a\u306b\u6b69\u304d\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>As space on some platforms is limited, spreading out on the platforms can be dangerous. Be aware also that some hallways and stairways are restricted to walking on one specific side.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">04<\/span>Line Up at Boarding Spots<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir04.png\" alt=\"\u4e57\u8eca\u4f4d\u7f6e\u3092\u76ee\u6a19\u306b\u6574\u5217\u4e57\u8eca\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Lining up to board is a basic rule for taking trains in Japan. Once you find your boarding spot (find boarding spot symbols painted on the platforms), cue up and form two or three lines.<br>Cutting in line and saving spots in the line are strictly prohibited.<br>Also, please ensure that large suitcases and other baggage do not get in the way of others.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">05<\/span>Give Priority to Exiting Passengers<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir05.png\" alt=\"\u964d\u308a\u308b\u4eba\u3092\u512a\u5148\u3057\u3066\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Once the train reaches the platform and the doors open, stand to the side and wait\u2014passengers getting off the train have priority. Make sure everyone has gotten off before boarding the train.<br>There is no need to rush; the doors will not close until everyone has boarded.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">06<\/span>Women-only Cars<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir06.png\" alt=\"\u5973\u6027\u5c02\u7528\u8eca\u4e21\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Midosuji and Tanimachi Lines have women-only train cars to help prevent sexual harassment on board.<br>One women-only car is available on all trains, all day on weekdays (Mon.~Fri.) on the Midosuji Line, and from the first train until 9:00a.m. on weekdays on the Tanimachi Line. The location of the women-only cars is marked on the platform.<br>Women-only cars operate on voluntary basis\u2014while not mandatory, passengers are encouraged to respect their intended purpose. In some cases, male passengers, including elementary school children as well as disabled passengers and their caretakers, may also board these cars.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">07<\/span>No Smoking<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir07.png\" alt=\"\u5168\u9762\u7981\u7159\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Smoking is prohibited on the trains, on all platforms, and inside all stations.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">08<\/span>Don\u2019t Rush for the Train<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir08.png\" alt=\"\u99c6\u3051\u8fbc\u307f\u4e57\u8eca\u306f\u5371\u967a\u3067\u3059\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Rushing to board trains can cause accidents and train delays, and is extremely dangerous.<br>If you are about to miss a train, simply wait for the next train.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\t\t<div id=\"manners-after\" class=\"manners-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">01<\/span>Move to the Back<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir09.png\" alt=\"\u5965\u306b\u8a70\u3081\u308b\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Once you board the train, move as far back as possible instead of stopping near the doors in order to allow other passengers behind you to get on board too.<br>When the train stops at a station, move away from the doors and make room for passengers getting on and off the train.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">02<\/span>Save the Priority Seats<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir10.png\" alt=\"\u512a\u5148\u5ea7\u5e2d\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Each Osaka Metro train car is equipped with priority seats reserved especially for seniors, those with disabilities, expectant mothers, and those with small children.<br>These seats can be identified by the color of the seat (it\u2019s different from other seats) and\/or signage nearby.<br>Please keep these seats available for those in need.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">03<\/span>Make Room for Others<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir11.png\" alt=\"\u4e00\u4eba\u3067\u3082\u591a\u304f\u306e\u4eba\u304c\u5ea7\u308c\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>If you have a lot of luggage, please place them on the racks above the seats. Do not place them on the seats next to you. Do not spread out on the seat; instead make room so other passengers can sit down.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">04<\/span>Do Not Talk on the Phone<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir12.png\" alt=\"\u643a\u5e2f\u96fb\u8a71\u3067\u306e\u901a\u8a71\u306f\u63a7\u3048\u308b\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Be sure to switch your phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone while on the train.<br>Be mindful that some passengers sitting in or near the priority seating area may have medical device implants.<br>On a really crowded train, please be sure to turn off the phone when standing\/seated near the priority seats.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">05<\/span>Turn Down the Volume of Electronic Devices<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir13.png\" alt=\"\u30a4\u30e4\u30db\u30f3\u30fb\u30d8\u30c3\u30c9\u30db\u30f3\u306e\u97f3\u91cf\u306b\u6ce8\u610f\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Sounds of earphones and headphones are unpleasant. Be sure to keep the volume low enough so that others can\u2019t hear it.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">06<\/span>Speak Quietly<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir14.png\" alt=\"\u5927\u58f0\u3067\u8a71\u3055\u306a\u3044\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>However fun and exciting your trip may be, avoid yelling or speaking loudly. Speak in a low, soft voice when conversing on the train.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">07<\/span>No Eating or Drinking<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir15.png\" alt=\"\u98f2\u98df\u306f\u63a7\u3048\u308b\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Eating and drinking on the train is troublesome to others. If you are on a long train ride and absolutely have to drink something, please wait until the train is stopped. Smoking is absolutely prohibited.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">08<\/span>Keep Your Luggage Out of the Way<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir16.png\" alt=\"\u8377\u7269\u306f\u90aa\u9b54\u306b\u306a\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3088\u3046\u306b\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>On crowded trains, backpacks can take up space and get in the way of others. Wear your backpack in the front or place them on the racks above the seats.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">09<\/span>Refrain from Applying Makeup on the Train<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir17.png\" alt=\"\u8eca\u5185\u3067\u30e1\u30a4\u30af\u3092\u3057\u306a\u3044\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Many feel uncomfortable around people applying makeup on a moving train, let alone a crowded train. Please refrain from putting on makeup while riding the train.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"manners-inner right\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span class=\"en\">10<\/span>Take Your Trash with You<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pic.k-cdn.media\/metronine\/images\/manners\/manners-ir18.png\" alt=\"\u30b4\u30df\u306f\u6301\u3061\u5e30\u308b\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Do not leave your trash on the train.
