Caravaggio Exhibition, Abeno Harukas Art Museum
Works by master painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, who was a pioneer of Baroque painting in the 17th century and had a major influence on future painters, have come to Japan! On display will be about 40 pieces including about 10 that will be displayed in Japan for the first time (including paintings attributed to him) as well as works by his contemporaries and his followers.
