Klimt Alive Osaka Exhibition

Bask in Klimt's golden world! An immersive exhibition in Osaka
Gustav Klimt is a representative artist of late 19th-century Vienna. The golden world he painted enthralled the upper class women of his time with its captivating representations of sensual love and the interplay of life and death, and his work continues to be adored globally today. This exhibition projects many of Klimt’s finest works, whose influences include the gold leaf used by Japan’s Rimpa school, on a giant, 360-degree wraparound screen. The artist’s gleaming, gilded world envelopes the venue. The grand classical music of Beethoven, Mozart, and others booms throughout, with wafts of warm, sultry fragrance, creating a combination of video, music, and scent for an unprecedented, immersive encounter. Photos and videos are permitted everywhere in the exhibition hall. This winter in Osaka, spend a delightful time unique to the enjoyment of an immersive theater.
