Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line
長堀鶴見緑地線
The Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, known for its train cars that are slightly more compact than other lines, is Japan’s first linear motor-based railway line. The line color is yellow green, representing the Tsurumi-ryokuchi Park, where the International Garden and Greenery Exposition was held. The line is represented with the letter “N” for “Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line” in the station numbering system. The Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line is home to all sorts of interesting and fun sights, such as the urban oasis Tsurumi-ryokuchi Park, the deeply cultural and bar-filled Kyobashi neighborhood, and Matsuyamachi, famous for its traditional shops selling hina dolls and Japanese sweets. Use the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line Dome-mae Chiyozaki Station for convenient access to the Kyocera Dome Osaka for baseball games and concerts. You just might meet some really passionate native Osakans.
